Diversity Forum. Interfaith Dialog and Education for Peace 00-0F-DIF
The course will discuss the aspects of diversity that are a baseline for interfaith dialogue and education for peace. We will look for barriers to interfaith dialogue and the barriers to education for peace. We will focus at the benefits that diversity offers and for the management of diversity and driving education for peace through interfaith dialogue, understanding, awareness and sensitivity. Empathy and emotional intelligence will be considered as tools for diversity management on a policy level and on an individual level. The course will draw from the sociology of religion, critical and social pedagogy, as well as elements of other social science disciplines.

For measuring achieved learning effects: Students may expect small weekly tasks for self-study, and a final essay or research report. To pass weekly presence and active participation are required.
