Artistic means of expression in the field of graphic arts offer a wide range of possibilities, including relief, intaglio, and planographic printing. They also offer opportunities for unconventional techniques. They allow for the free creation of thoughts and ideas, a freedom that allows for a certain degree of freedom in formulating creative expression. They develop graphic arts skills; the appropriate selection of means of expression is always inspiring in the formal structure of a work and in giving meaning to artistic expression. They create opportunities for pursuing creative endeavors, from project analysis to its implementation. This deepens knowledge of both classic and unconventional graphic arts techniques. They stimulate creativity. Students complete a project in consultation with the instructor. The selected techniques are an extension of those learned in previous semesters. |
