1. Making drawing sketches of the portrayed people. Exercise of observation and similarity. The student has knowledge of the basic principles of the implementation of sculptures, including the issues related to the technologies used in the construction of sculptural objects. The exercise introduces you to spatial thinking and makes you aware of the process of creating a work from sketches and drawing studies to the creation of a spatial form, taking into account both the right proportions and the structure of the object. Assessment criteria
Setting study and conceptual tasks preceded by a discussion of the issue, with reference to examples of viewed works of art.
Preparation of the concept of the work - talks and analyzes aimed at selecting a compositional and ideological idea, always based on drawing sketches.
Systematic adjustments. Semester review - discussion of the created works in the presence of the whole group.
