The course is a comprehensive study of issues related to pedagogical support for children from multi-problem families struggling with dysfunctions such as addictions and violence. The aim of this course is to explore the theoretical foundations and practical strategies for diagnosis, intervention and long-term support for children from these environments. Through the analysis of interdisciplinary scientific perspectives and case studies, students will develop their understanding of the complexity of the situation of children in dysfunctional families and the ability to take practical action to improve their functioning. During the course, key issues will be discussed, such as identifying symptoms of family dysfunction, roles taken on by children from dysfunctional families, legal obligations of a school employee in the event of suspected child abuse due to domestic violence, educational and psychosocial interventions, and planning long-term support, local community support. |
