Learning outcomes:
The student:

Knowledge – will acquire knowledge about pedagogical challenges in educational systems across different cultures, with a focus on intercultural contexts.

Skills – will develop the ability to analyze and compare strategies for addressing educational difficulties in diverse contexts and to formulate proposals for appropriate pedagogical interventions.

Social competences – will gain the competence to adapt teaching methods to environments with different values, norms, and educational practices, while also developing intercultural skills and a reflective approach to teaching.

Analysis of the Polish-American educational context – similarities, differences, and challenges.
The role of the teacher in multicultural environments – competencies and attitudes.
Designing educational activities that support cultural and linguistic diversity.
Use of technology and online teaching in intercultural education.
Case studies – analysis of specific pedagogical situations in various cultural contexts.
Communication and language challenges in intercultural teaching.
Strategies for managing conflicts and challenges in educational settings.
Critical reflections on pedagogical practices and development of intercultural competencies.
